archeological_sites.shp is the point shapefile of the Archaeological Sites. Archaeological sites are works of man or the combined works of nature and of man which are of outstanding value from the historical, anthropological, ethnological and aesthetic points of view.

 

historical_settlements.shp is the polygonic shapefile of the historical settlements. Historical settlements is a group of small settlements from the period of Ottoman domination. They are marked by the high density and the characteristic mapping out of the streets that recall medieval urban cores.

 

medieval_town.shp is the polygonic shapefile of the medieval town of Rhodes. Due to the archaeological findings the medieval town of Rhodes was declared as UNESCO’s world heritage.

 

parks.shp is the point shapefile of the parks and grove.

 

CityBoundaries.shp is the polygonic shapefile of the town boundaries.

 

MunicipalityBoundaries.shp is the polygonic shapefile of the municipality boundaries.
